NEEV is a charitable public trust, actively engaged in promoting educational change through innovation, research, and training. At NEEV, we believe that qualitative transformation of children’s learning should be an ongoing process rather than a series of discrete innovations. To this end, our goal is to transform the school as a whole into a learning organisation.

Curriculum reform processes are commendable, but even a new textbook is a static solution. Rather than engage in curriculum revisions or teacher training processes, we argue that teacher training and research has to be embedded in the process of classroom teaching and learning. Similarly, educational management, planning and evaluation must also be carried out in the context of classroom processes rather than as isolated entities.

This approach to research in context is best exemplified by our goals for children as well. We want children to develop a research orientation towards learning - where they create new hypotheses in light of their existing knowledge and intellectual criticism from their peers and facilitators.
